About this role:

The Supervisor, Logistics (Import/Export) leads the day-to-day execution of international shipments and customs documentation, ensuring inbound and outbound freight moves compliantly and on time. This first-level leadership role partners with carriers, brokers and internal teams to keep material flowing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervises daily import/export operations, documentation and customs filings.
• Coordinates with freight forwarders, carriers and customs brokers on inbound/outbound shipments.
• Ensures accuracy and retention of trade documentation (commercial invoices, HTS codes, certificates of origin).
• Monitors shipment status, resolves customs holds and mitigates delivery risks.
• Ensures compliance with US customs and trade regulations (CBP, C-TPAT, USMCA) and DOT requirements.
• Supervises and develops a small team supporting shipping/receiving documentation.
• Maintains trade-compliance records to support audits.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree 
• 2+ years of import/export operations, customs documentation and trade compliance.
• 2+ years coordinating with freight forwarders, carriers and customs brokers.
• 2+ years leading, coordinating or directing the work of others.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Customs broker license or international trade-compliance certification.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, International Trade, Business or a related field
• Prior supervisory experience in logistics or trade compliance.
• Working knowledge of US customs and trade regulations (CBP, C-TPAT, USMCA).
• Experience with ERP/WMS and trade-management systems.
• Strong attention to detail and recordkeeping discipline for audit readiness.
