About this role:
In this role, as the Senior HRBP you will develop and execute talent strategies, enable a culture of inclusion, and deploy organizational effectiveness tools that attract reward, engage, retain, and develop our diverse talent. This position is a recognized master in the Human Resources Generalist discipline. Develops and implements a variety of HR programs, addresses complex HR inquiries, and monitors market trends to address HR development needs. This role also partners strategically Manages the development of human resources documents and advises on Talent Management and Labor and Employee Relations issues.
Key responsibilities:
- Create and execute an agile people strategy that advances critical business priorities and supports the attraction, development, and retention of our talent – while embracing the future of work.
- Lead and/or partner (with COEs) on items including, but not limited to talent acquisition, talent development, leadership development, succession planning, diversity, equity and inclusion, organizational effectiveness, performance development, and total rewards.
- Build and execute a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion plan to drive tangible improvements in diverse representation. Integrate IED principles and practices into business goals, organizational design, and talent development strategies. Promote a strong culture of inclusion across the organization that leads to increased engagement and retention.
- Orchestrate key talent movement with an aim towards building diverse teams and robust succession.
- Partner with leaders to evaluate the effectiveness of their teams and their organizational design. Facilitate workshops to re-evaluate existing structures, where needed. Lead change management efforts and new leader onboarding/assimilation activities, as required.
- Counsel/coach functional leaders on matters concerning the development of their organization to enhance effectiveness and potential. Partner with leaders to create development plans that connect to the right resources to support their own development and the development/effectiveness of their teams.
- Provide guidance and counsel on HR-related matters affecting employment, talent, organization structure, and strategy for multiple sites.
- Lead recruitment efforts for the business with a focus on bringing in diverse talent, building a talent pipeline, and supporting the managers throughout the selection process and in conjunction with our Talent Acquisition Center of Expertise
- Manage human resources projects and programs related to compensation, performance management, employee and career development, and HR workforce analytics while sustaining a team-based work environment across multiple sites
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives and deploy change management initiatives by creating awareness, understanding and buy-in and using change management to continue improving overall engagement and morale
- Manage outcome of performance management issues and promote performance connect meetings to improve overall performance
- Provide advice and counsel to the organization on effective employee and labor relations skills, ensuring compliance with federal and state employment laws and company policies
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 8 + years of experience in human resources with demonstrated role progression
Preferred qualifications:
- Master’s degree
- Exempt level Human Resources generalist experience with demonstrated progression into roles with increasing levels of responsibility
- Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
- Ability to work effectively and influence others in a diverse and dynamic work environment
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
- Prior experience working with an hourly workforce preferred
- Prior experience in training and career development preferred – the ability to facilitate on-site training in multiple areas of human resources
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and multiple sites
- Demonstrated aptitude for selection and talent acquisition
- Knowledge of human resource practices and policies, and applicable state and federal laws
- Advanced level skills with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
- Ability to effectively use HRIS for monthly reports, tracking HR metrics and ad hoc reporting, experience with Workday preferred
