About This Role
Be an integral part of the Business Controls team in the selection, deployment and maintenance of business controls related software, including providing functional expertise in supporting BlackLine (reconciliations + task modules), Sarbanes-Oxley compliance (AuditBoard SOXHUB), DPS (Denied Party Screening), Risk Assessment System (AuditBoard RiskOversight), Qlik based analytics, and Policy repository tools.
This position works closely with:
Business Controls process owners and process experts to identify, evaluate and select processes for automation, prepare detailed documentation of selected processes, test automations and provide ongoing support to process owners for automations that are live, and
The Business Controls team and ~1,400 global users to ensure the technology platforms we support are optimized to improve their processes and add value to the Finance function
The Intelligent Automations COE in the evaluation and application of Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Business Process Management (BPMS) and Machine Learning (ML) technologies for the Business Controls area, The internal audit team to ensure coordinated efforts and administration of AuditBoard software and the combined issues listings from internal audit and SOX
The Legal team overseeing Ethics and Compliance to ensure proper finance issue resolution and support of the policy repository tool.
The Legal team administering Enterprise Risk Management, which is supported within AuditBoard RiskOversight.
Key Responsibilities:
The Business Controls finance systems team works closely with our customers to define their requirements and configure the above tools and content. Specific responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Lead project management for the deployment of business controls related software, including working with segment Business Controls Leads to define and document requirements for application enhancements and coordinate unit, regression and user acceptance testing for application enhancements
Perform application maintenance, including user security, annual rollovers, metadata updates Manage help desk support, maintain documentation such as user guides, process flows, and training materials, and coordinate and conduct training sessions as needed
Assist with identification, evaluation and selection of business controls related software
Facilitate identification, evaluation and selection of processes for automation, including quantifying estimated and realized benefits of automations, and working closely with process owners and process experts to develop detailed process documentation
Required Qualifications:
B.S. in Accounting, Finance or Business
5+ years of experience in public accounting, auditing and/or internal controls experience
Preferred Qualifications:
MBA or certification a plus
Excellent leadership, interpersonal, communication, project management and facilitation skills, as well as a passion for technology and the ability to interact and influence effectively across business units and functions, and with all levels of finance management
Strong analytical skills and a high attention to detail
