We are seeking an Engineering Change Coordinator for the Charlotte, NC location.
This position will report to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager and be responsible for all elements of Engineering Change Notice (ECN) implementation, acting as the linkage between Engineering and Manufacturing. This role will require collaboration with all business functions from Engineering to Quality, to Manufacturing, to Marketing, etc.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist functional groups in defining the requirements each function to ensure actions are tracked in a change management checklist in Windchill by-way-of Carrier’s
- Engineering Change Process.
- Coordinate large numbers of SAP ECNs with engineering SAP ECN team, acting as the linkage with the various other functions.
- Ensure and analyses data quality for Bills of Material.
- Confirm Material Master and BOM data is accurate per product structure requirements and consistent with SAP requirements.
- Ensure that the ECNs are being completed in a timely manner.
- Identify problems for resolution, navigating the organization to collaborate or escalate with the correct parties.
- Supporting the development and ensuring that Standard Work Instructions (SWIs) are being following.
- Collaborate with other engineering and Charlotte support teams when need to move the SAP ECNs to a released state.
- Utilized Carrier’s Cx system, turnback and escape, to help identify areas that need possible improvement.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- HS Diploma and/or GED
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment working collaboratively with material planning, scheduling or engineering.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills. Highly motivated, self-directed, and able to effectively lead efforts in accurately completing ECNs.
- Ability to work in a highly dynamic team and fast-paced environment with continuous challenges.
- Experience with change management processes.
- Experienced with Windchill – Version 10.2.
- Experience with SAP a plus.
