Senior Sales Professional

This position is a remote role, the ideal candidate will be seated in the Southeast Region of the United States.

Carrier Strategic Accounts is currently searching for a dynamic Senior Sales Professional to manage and grow the national sales of HVAC equipment to one of the largest health systems in the US.  The primary responsibility of the Sr. Sales Professional is to manage the sales and technical needs of this important customer and assure technical outcomes of selections and submittals as well as the management of multiple acute care new construction and retrofit projects simultaneously.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all engineering selections, submittals and quotations ensuring the best offering to meet the owners’ varying needs per project.
  • Act as liaison between Carrier product management and owners engineer(s). Support and direct existing personnel currently calling on the owner’s engineer.
  • Support the Carrier Strategic Account Manager (SAM) by proactively organizing the project pipeline
  • Manage multiple owner projects simultaneously including project status and tracking. Communicate with the health systems executive management and project managers. Communicate with internal stake holders- the healthcare system strategic account manager, engineering design team etc.
  • Act as interface between the owner, his engineer and the Carrier sales channel communicating design intent and proactively removing obstacles.
  • Work directly with building owner to improve system reliability, reduce energy consumption and improve the indoor environment. 
  • Partner with the field sales and service team members, operations, branch and regional leadership as necessary. Ensure start-up execution and warranty service as needed.
  • Work with the Carrier sales and service channel to oversee projects from bid to installation to ensure satisfactory completion.
  • Support and communicate with the owners GPO partner.
  • Develop relationships with the end-user client while creating a business case to utilize Carrier building solutions in their facilities: new construction and replacement projects.
  •  Create and implement strategic sales strategies to successfully position Carrier as the preferred supplier to secure targeted projects in a competitive environment.
  • Prepare accurate and thorough sales activity reports, forecast reports, Sales Force updates and expense tracking.
  • Participate in civic and professional organizations to build a network of contacts to advance achievement of sales targets. 
  • Actively participate in sales department meetings, workshops and seminars. Keep current on market business and product trends. Continue to pursue in-depth product and service knowledge and acquire deeper selling, technical and financial skills. 
  • Deploy account management strategies.
  • Team sell with solutions partners to bundle solutions and expand Carrier participation in opportunities.
  • Develop and build long-term relationships.
  • Focus on customer retention and satisfaction/loyalty.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 5+ years Experience in HVAC Equipment Sales

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Experience selling HVAC Equipment in the Healthcare and or Healthcare Markets
  • Requires high level of technical and sales expertise to effectively and independently assist
  • Experience utilizing CRM systems such as Salesforce
  • Experience utilizing Microsoft Office Suite
