External Description:

Carrier’s Commercial HVAC business is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Program Manager to lead the transformation and change management effort for our North America service business. This individual will oversee the fulfillment of long-term organizational goals and work closely with both internal stakeholders and external consulting agencies on initiatives that will drive growth within the business.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Function as a program manager to support North America regional and CHVAC transformation leaders and 3rd party partner in the planning, communication, and execution of the program

· Serve as liaison between 3rd party partner and North America regional team and CHVAC transformation leaders to ensure effective execution of transformation program.

· Oversee execution of program roadmap to outline strategy, objectives, and project alignment; oversee dependent projects that are needed to reach the program's goals

· Coordinate activities between 3rd party, multiple projects, giving detailed attention to program strategy, project management and execution

· Provide program leadership to dependent projects, ensuring thorough planning, scope definition and execution

· Manage and communicate dependent project status including milestones, risks, and action items to drive completion in a timely manner (on-time, in-budget)

· Work with teams across 3rd party and functions on project execution and seek opportunities to improve team efficiency

· Remove obstacles and escalation when necessary to ensure projects stay on track to committed timeline

· Support impact analysis and assess change readiness; implement actions when/where required

· Ensure dependent projects have well-defined business cases/return expectations and methods to track results over time

· Contribute to and capture program-level reporting and presentation materials

· Develop and deliver presentations to leadership and key stakeholders

· Consider effective transfer and application of process and tools for use outside of North America

· Collaborate with consultants or external partners as required

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

· Bachelors’ degree

· 5+ years of experience Project Management

· 7+ years in Field Service operations

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

· Proven ability to manage various project types, including digital technology, service sales & service operations

· Working knowledge of practical project management methodologies, best practices and tools including passport and agile

· Experience managing projects through the full project lifecycle

· Project management certification and/or training

· Proven ability to complete projects on-time, within budget, with desired results

· Ability to manage customer and partner resources and expectations

· Critical thinker with strong attention to detail

· Strive for continuous improvement and prioritize time management

· Effective management and influence of non-direct reporting resources

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills

· Effective use of MSOffice tools, PowerPoint, and Excel, project collaboration tools (Monday.com, Asana, MIRO)

· Knowledge of HVAC and service industries are a plus
