Det-Tronics is a $150M technologically innovative, projects-based global P&L protecting customers in many challenging environments with high end flame and gas detection products and systems. Det-Tronics is a part of the Global Fire Products business of Carrier and has a global footprint with manufacturing sites in the U.S. and sales presence in all key geographies.

Manages a team of intermediate or experienced professionals in Production Planning, Materials Management, and SIOP. Executes operational plans that include creating production schedules, balancing supply and demand, managing capacity utilization, responding to complex inquiries, and ensuring quality of work. Leads in the development of planner best practices and guides the team on ERP utilization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manages team of intermediate or experienced professionals and sets short-term production plans for the factory.
  • Responsible for maintaining master data for manufactured parts, subassemblies, end items and other parts as required
  • Supports the capacity management process, including identification of capacity gaps to ensure successful execution of customer demands in support of SIOP.
  • Oversees the creation and maintenance of the master production schedule
  • Coordinates with sales and customer service teams to understand customer requirements, and shifting priorities
  • Coordinates with supply chain team to understand material constraints and ensure clear communication of demand to our suppliers
  • Responsible for ensuring MRP system is aligned with the production schedule and production processes

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree  
  • 5+ years’ experience working in production planning, supply chain, or operations.
  • 5+ ERP Systems experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Expertise in driving business process improvement initiative
  • Result driven mindset with the ability to work cross functionally.
  • Advanced level skills developing analysis in Excel, PowerBI and/or MS Access
