Key Responsibilities
- Design the overall SIOP process
- Tailor the process to fit the company's needs and culture, leveraging internal and external experts.
- Lead the SIOP transformation plan leveraging external experts.
- Clarify the frequency, goals and time horizon covered in the SIOP cycle, and will define the standard templates required for maintaining a consistent SIOP process.
- Outline how the SIOP process will align with Aftermarket SIOP and already-existing processes, such as annual operating budget processes, strategic planning, or short-term customer fulfillment.
- Ensure alignment with the material managements processes.
- Define the SIOP sub-processes.
- Work with the sub-process representatives to ensure that their current process practices are well-aligned with the goals of the overall SIOP process.
- Develop actions plan together with the sub-process representatives to achieve level 3 maturity level.
- Work with the commercial organization to map how the local demand signals are collected and communicated to the demand planners, as well as how the statistical forecast is incorporated in the demand-planning process.
- Design the format and goals of the SIOP meeting.
- Define what makes for a successful meeting. This includes pre meeting preparation, a template for the agenda, the required participants, the escalation and resolution process, and the expected outcomes.
- In collaboration with the BU leads, roll-out the process to the BU and sites.
- Lead, coach, guide the BU and sites to successfully roll-out to SIOP Process
- Roll-out SIOP OEM Process
- Educate Leadership at BU and sites on the SIOP process.
- Measurement and Continuous Improvement
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Identify the most important KPIs to measure the success of the SIOP process.
- Get agreement on how these KPIs are calculated, work with the business to determine targets and identify the systems required to collect the necessary data.
- Chief champion, working with business units to demonstrate the logic behind and value of adopting SIOP playbook.
- Support the business in conducting SIOP self-assessments and support regions or business units in their initial rollout of the playbook.
- Focus on defining the compliance and continuous improvement requirements to ensure the continued adoption and success of the processes.
- Design an audit program to ensure compliance.
- Ability to travel up to 20%
- Design and implement an audit program that will measure adherence to the processes and continued efficacy.
- Work with already-implemented businesses to measure adherence, resolve challenges with adoption and identify opportunities for continuous improvements.
- Technology / Digital Enablement
- Support the integration and adoption of digital solution into the SIOP OEM Process
- Together with the digital solution leads, ensure integration of digital solution into the SIOP process.
- Work with the Digital Team to propose solution for some part of the process not supported by the solution deployed.
- Will determine the level of technology sophistication that can support current SIOP needs and the company's future aspirations for higher maturity levels in those disciplines.
- Support the digitalization of the end-to-end supply chain processes
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 6+ years in demand planning, or material planning/management
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA
- Supply chain certification such as APICS CPIM or CSCP
- Experience implementing SIOP digital systems (e.g. Kinaxis)
- Experience implementing and working with SIOP process based on Oliver White model
- Knowledge and experience with ERP systems, MRP planning, forecasting systems, inventory optimization software, supply chain design and lean supply chain methods
- Leadership qualities including excellent communication skills. Proven abilities in: influencing (up, across, down), problem solving, decision making and relationship building
- Experience with LEAN principles, continuous improvement
- Strong project management skills, data driven, results oriented, accountable for results

- In-depth understanding of strategic business goals and objectives
- In-depth understanding of demand, supply planning, and material management
- Good understanding of financial planning
- Deep understanding of technology enablement (of large scale) and current technology tools
- Proven experience in process definition and implementation, as well as in change management
- Proven ability to communicate with people at all levels, ranging from factory schedulers to high-level executives
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to effectively communicate to technical and nontechnical audiences
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills, as well as strong skills as a negotiator to reach consensus, buy-in and commitment
