Carrier Factory-Authorized Service in Charlotte, NC have been manufacturing HVAC equipment for over 100 years, so we know how to keep systems running at peak performance.  Carrier also announced in February 2023 that its Charlotte, North Carolina manufacturing site has achieved “zero waste to landfill” certification, ensuring that all waste is being converted to energy and other uses rather than sent to a landfill. The Charlotte site is Carrier’s first commercial HVAC facility and fourth location globally to earn this designation.

About this role

Carrier World Headquarters (WHQ) – HVAC Operations is seeking a talented and experienced Delivery Assurance Leader to join our team in Charlotte NC. The ideal candidate will manage a team of intermediate or experienced professionals in Materials Planning and SIOP. Execute operational plans i.e., storing and shipping of products, executing activities, responding to complex inquiries, and ensuring quality of work; development of inventory control reports and manuals; work with the Stand-up Delivery Assurance Organization; overview of the entire Supply Chain workstream and offer high visibility Operations leadership.

This site manufactures air-cooled and water-cooled products. The Delivery Assurance Leader will work onsite in Charlotte but reports into the WHQ in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. Required to travel locally around 20% of the time.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for material “Clear to Build” (CTB) for Charlotte facility
• Coordinate with Materials Management, Planning and Purchasing on “On Time Delivery”
• Solve escalation with Suppliers and Sourcing Organization.
• Report daily on CTB and critical parts shortages with recovery plan actions
• Lead CTB meetings and assist Planners/Buyers on shortage management and/or resolution
• Help define and implement the “Plan for each Part” (PEP) activities
• Manage a team of experts

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 4+ years’ experience in strategic Supply Chain and Materials Management

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or supply chain management
• MBA or a Master's degree
• Managing and coach people
• Influence across organizational levels and interpersonal skills
• Work with cross-functional team
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• English communication (verbal and written)
