About this role
SIOP Director, COE /PMO manages multiple departments that include multiple teams led by managers and supervisors in Materials Planning and SIOP. The role establishes and implements long-term strategies including storing and shipping products, activity planning, responding to highly complex and comprehensive inquiries, and ensuring the highest quality of work. They will oversees the development and implementation of inventory control reports and manuals.
Key Responsibilities
Manages multiple departments, and owns the execution of long-term strategy and operational direction.
Oversees the development and implementation of plans and prepares data for purchased parts, subassemblies, end items and other parts as required.
Accountable for the development and implementation of the capacity management process, including identification of capacity gaps to ensure successful execution of customer demands in support of SIOP.
Oversees the establishment and execution of continuous management for the master demand schedule, including adherence to required validations using the best information available.
Provides oversight to the direction of transportation and delivery of inter/intra-plant parts and outbound finished products.
Oversees the management of inter/intra-plant work in process (WIP), promise dating, and expedite orders to ensure on-time delivery and flow.
Accountable for tracking and shipping process.
Oversees the development and implementation of plans to minimize risks for shortages and ensures successful customer delivery.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
12 + year’s experience in SIOP, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Management , Operations or Finance
Preferred Qualifications
MBA or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Finance
CPSM or APICS certification
Advanced capability in Microsoft PowerPoint
Experience with $2B–10B+ businesses
Strong business acumen specific to Inventory, Revenue, Units, and Margin
Confidence in clearly presenting to executives and large groups
Ability to build cross-functional relationships through strong communication and interpersonal skills
Experience participating in an SIOP process
Experience with inventory and forecast optimization
Experience using and/or implementing advanced tools and system for planning and inventory management
Proven success in business process optimization and transformation
Ability to drive change and transformation across different stakeholders
Demonstrated effective project management skills and experience
