GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
We currently have an opportunity for an Associate Director with key responsibilities focused on supporting Supply Chain and Logistics within the Residential and Light Commercial HVAC organization. This position is responsible for leading a team that turns data into action through creation of high-value reports that allow leaders to see opportunities and quickly respond to challenges pro-actively. This role has oversight of SAP Material Master and provides key analytics to support the Carrier Distribution Centers, SIOP, Operations, and will function as a key liaison with IT. In addition, this position will play a leading role in creating and assessing business cases for system enhancements, software, and creating new analytics focused on creating visibility throughout the business. The ideal candidate will coordinate strategy and create enablement opportunities through the deployment of team resources, as well as structuring advanced analytics to show improvement opportunities.
- Creates strategy to enable each of the functional areas to reach best in class levels – from SIOP, Transportation and DC Operations.
- Providing leadership and support for Key applications and roles supporting those applications (TM/WM)
- Lead a functionally aligned team to support the three Supply Chain and Logistics verticals of SIOP, Distribution Centers, and Transportation
- Deploying support to various projects based on business-critical projects
- Create business cases alongside Supply Chain and Logistics leads with a plan to execute primary objectives
- Define and create early warning indicators to flag areas of critical importance in various areas of the business
- Coordinate best practices with the Material Master team to support a rapidly changing business environment
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Leading the Strategic tower of the Supply Chain and Logistics team for North American HVAC
- Create business cases, and be able to present those cases effectively to all levels of the business, including executive leadership
- Provide support in execution of Supply Chain and Logistics key initiatives
- Support inventory reduction initiatives, providing analytics to give visibility and highlight areas of opportunity
- Managerial oversight of SAP Material Master team
- Creation and publication of KPIs
- Identifying and defining business requirements for SAP enhancements and implementations
- Developing and providing ad hoc reporting to SIOP, DC, and Leadership
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 10+ years of Supply Chain experience
- 5+ years of experience executing and delivering key logistics and operational programs
- 5+ years of people management

- Strong verbal, written and inter-personal communication skills
- Ability to work across organizational boundaries and Supply Chain organization
- Proficiency in MS Office tools, especially Excel and Access
- Experience with SAP, SAP APO DP, Business Intelligence, PowerBI
- Familiar with LEAN principles
