KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible to meet production daily goals while driving cost-effectiveness and ensuring work is done in a safer manner.
• This position manages a team of intermediate or experienced professionals in Manufacturing Operations. Establishes objectives and guidelines for managing and monitoring cell performance and productivity. Directs scheduling and sequencing of work, as well as production innovation to optimize production.
• Adjust headcount to meet changes in demand.
• Manages a team of supervisors to ensure all quality-related items are complete and documented.
• Directs cost reduction and process improvement to ensure efficiency of operations and cost-effectiveness.
• Directs scheduling to meet production targets.
• Sets the sequencing of work, such as build and delivery, to optimize productivity.
• Leads materials and logistics problem resolution to ensure the availability of materials and smooth operations.
• Manages multiple cells' performance and productivity to maximize productivity.
• Directs production innovation, including additive manufacturing, to enhance production capabilities.
• Liaises with customers to understand customer needs and issues and ensure that the customers receive satisfactory standards of service.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 8+ years’ experience in manufacturing operations with progressive leadership & technical responsibilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or MBA preferred
• Lean Manufacturing-Six Sigma-Kaizen-5S experience is highly desirable
• Candidate must have a working knowledge of ISO and operations management best practices  
• Demonstrates a balance of robust analytical, written, and verbal communication skill
• Must possess proven project management skills, process improvement skills, applied computer technology (MRP/DRP, etc.)
