About this role

This role reports to the Associate Director, Materials Management within the Fire and Security Division and is responsible for analyzing and improving ERP utilization across factories. The ideal candidate has a strong knowledge of ERP and MRP functionality, and experience working with demand planning, supply planning, and operations business processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducting ERP utilization assessments at a factory to understand current processes, system gaps, best practices, etc.
  • Work closely with the supply chain and operations teams to understand pain points and identify ERP utilization gaps or ERP enhancement opportunities
  • Able to translate business requirements into technical requirements
  • Oversee the development of ERP process flows and ensure the ERP system is optimized to meet business needs
  • Develop master data governance policies and assist in review and clean up processes
  • Define policies, best practices, standard procedures, etc. for ERP processes across factories
  • Liaison between business functional leads and the technical ERP developers
  • Supports ERP implementation activities across F&S factories
  • Contributes to the solution design, preparation and reviewing of functional specifications with business process leads, technical team and cross functional teams for ERP enhancements
  • Conduct requirement gathering and design workshops with business users
  • Coordinates with the business intelligence teams to ensure data & metrics align with ERP functionality
  • Analyze data to identify utilization gaps or process improvement opportunities

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree
  • 10+ years of ERP experience, with at least 2+ years of JD Edwards experience

Preferred Qualifications

Other qualifications you may have that would be beneficial in this role include:

  • Advanced degree in a related field with 7 years of experience
  • JD Edwards ERP experience preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of related disciplines within work area and able to identify links and potential impact on projects, programs and systems
  • Experience managing the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of various ERP business systems and databases
  • Ability to work cross-functionally to understand business requirements and proposes Digital solutions
