About This Role
We are seeking a qualified candidate for a Sr. Program Finance Analyst position within the Carrier HVAC business located in Indianapolis, IN.
This position will serve as the financial leader for multiple programs working within cross-functional teams. The successful candidate will complete in depth financial analysis for new product development, cost optimization, and feature enhancement programs in order to provide the Leadership Team with the complete financial impacts of the programs and their cost/savings drivers.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide product cost estimates and program financial analysis for multiple strategic development projects by working closely with program managers, design engineering, marketing, sourcing, pricing, and manufacturing teams.
Accurately track program financials throughout the life of the program and succinctly articulate variances of key metrics (NPV, IRR, payback, cost, margin, mix, etc.…) along with risks and opportunities
Create PowerPoint presentations of key program financial data with ability to present during governance review meetings
Attend and contribute to regular program team meetings
Participate in annual business/financial plan development
Special projects and ad hoc business/financial analysis
Support the finance department with Carrier Excellence objectives
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with 3+ years of Finance/Accounting experience
OR
MBA degree with 2+ years of Finance/Accounting experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated MS Office skills with advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookups, etc...)
Ability to manage large amounts of data effectively
Data/Financial analytical skills with demonstrated ability to pull data from multiple sources and synthesize in both verbal and graphical format so it is easily understood by the target audience
Ability to work in cross-functional teams in a supportive, service-oriented fashion, and leading as required.
Self-motivated, highly organized with strong attention to detail and superior follow-up and follow-through skills.
Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines, concurrently handling multiple projects with competing/changing priorities
Understanding of manufacturing and operations finance concepts
