About This Role

The Inside Sales Support Representative is responsible for estimating building automation projects and providing sales support. This position will also work to train toward a transition to an outside sales role. This position is intended to be approximately a 2 year appointment completing with a smooth transition to an Outside Sales Engineering role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist sales team with estimates, walk-throughs and field surveys

  • Provide accurate estimates to minimize risk while maintaining low cost

  • Track quantity and dollar volume of estimates

  • Meet project deadlines

  • Create a scope letter for each project

  • Review specification and control schematics

  • Provide clear documentation on estimates and proposals

  • Assist sales team with order booking process and change order entry

  • Provide backup support for quotes and deviations from specifications.

  • Respond and communicate to interdepartmental requests in a timely manner

  • Utilize applicable sales tools effectively (CRM, estimating software, etc.)

  • Collaborate with internal staff to deliver quality results

  • Train to develop technical product knowledge

  • Train to develop skills in outside sales including strategic selling and communicating the Automated Logic value proposition

Required Qualifications  

  • Bachelor’s Degree Completed by January 2025

  • 6 Months of Experience Utilizing Microsoft Office Suite

  • Strong time management skills
