Product technical support to assist internal Carrier, Bryant and Payne (CBP) staff and field technical service managers with product issue resolution and product improvement initiatives. Support of processes and methods to ensure company objectives in the areas of cost, efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction are met.

Seasoned Service Professional. Works as an individual contributor to achieve objectives that have a significant impact on area of responsibility. May manage services processes and / or projects. Uses experience and knowledge to influence processes, standards, and plans to continuously improve service and quality.
 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to customer technical inquiries by CRM, phone and e-mail while providing product technical troubleshooting and application support to CBP Technical Service Managers and internal customers.
  • Provide field problem job site support
  • Provide service and application feedback as part of the product design and launch teams
  • Review and/or write product literature, service bulletins and technical training program materials.
  • Qualify, quantify and work to resolve field product issues.  
  • Provide engineering evaluation, support and sustaining engineering for private label products.
  • Lead and facilitate monthly Issue Resolution Process meetings with extended Carrier team.
  • Analyzes and makes recommendations for Quality Assurance plans, guidelines, policies, and processes to ensure the achievement of Quality targets.
  • Implements projects and processes to ensure overall quality is continuously improving.
  • Provides production process analysis, ensuring quality standards are met and making recommendations for quality improvements.

LEVEL OF RESPONSIBILITY:

  • Responsible for small projects or multiple tasks within functional discipline
  • Makes significant contributions to their team by applying their knowledge of the discipline.
  • Works with moderate guidance on projects with short-term focus

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma with 10+ years of HVAC experience OR Associate Degree with 5+ years  HVAC experience OR Bachelor’s Degree with 2+ years HVAC experience
