About this role

This position is a senior resource for the Hardware Engineering Team and will play a key role in supporting and maintaining our next generation of cold chain IoT solutions. Use your engineering skills to investigate, troubleshoot and resolving end-to-end issues and determine the root cause of failures. You will work closely with colleagues on the hardware and software engineering teams to resolve these issues and confirm performance improvements. Key Responsibilities

As a Sr. System Engineer, IoT/Wireless this role involves:

  • Maintaining and troubleshooting end-to-end performance of real-time wireless solutions tracking cold chain shipments in Consumer Industrial, Life Science and Cargo Security markets.
  • Working with hardware and software engineering teams to optimize integration of mobile devices with cloud-based backend processing and databases.
  • Driving innovation and automation to provide best in class IoT/Wireless solutions.
  • Supporting initiatives across the hardware engineering to improve processes and drive cost reduction.

 

Required Qualifications

We are looking for someone to be an integral part of the System Engineering team to effectively troubleshoot and resolve complex Hardware and System Level issues. You will need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Engineering-related field 
  • 5+ years of experience working with complex Wireless or mobile based systems
  • 1+ years Hardware design and troubleshooting experience

 

Preferred Qualifications

Other qualifications you may have that would be beneficial in this role include:

  • Ability to solve challenging and complex IoT/Wireless Hardware and System level issues
  • Can do attitude with a willingness to learn and grow
  • Must have a hands-on attitude
  • Self-motivated and driven
