About this role

Carrier’s Digital Growth and Strategy team is looking for a strategic professional to manage our internal communications and change management efforts. Collaborating with cross-functional leaders, this individual will translate strategy into clear and compelling content and messaging that enables our internal team to understand and act on our goals.  Ideally the work location is either Palm Beach Gardens (FL) or Atlanta (GA) however we are open for remote work within the USA

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with leadership to define digital communications goals and priorities.
  • Develop an internal communications strategy that aligns to our functional strategy.
  • Draft clear and compelling content for emails, blog posts, and other business materials.
  • Execute communications across a variety of internal touchpoints and channels.
  • Develop materials to educate staff on communications best practices.
  • Develop case studies that communicate the value of our products and platforms.
  • Create executive messaging, presentations and other communications deliverables for Carrier’s Chief Digital Officer.
  • Measure and assess the effectiveness of communications and optimize using insights.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to tell Carrier’s digital story internally and externally.
  • Plan and execute live-streamed Town Hall style events for the global Digital function.
  • Develop and implement a unified working model with global communications teammates based in our Hub locations.
  • Manage a small team of communications professionals to deliver with excellence.
  • Partner with corporate communications to ensure adherence to global standards.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 6+ years’ of experience in Communications, Product Marketing, or Marketing.

Preferred Qualifications

Other qualifications you may have that would be beneficial in this role include:

  • Played a key role in software business model transformation from perpetual licenses to recurring revenue and SaaS. 
  • The ability to simplify the complex, quickly define core problem and frame the solution approach 
  • Success collaborating across teams and regions to achieve standardization and drive enablement acro the enterprise (pull vs. push strategies to help reps more effectively sell). 
  • Experience in industrial/manufacturing software segments 
  • Collaborative team-player with the curiosity and confidence to both learn and teach.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and executive presence.
  • Strong eye for visual design and excellent detail orientation.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft SharePoint, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Proficiency using graphic design tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe Photoshop).
  • Experience using internal email communications tools (e.g., Poppulo)
  • Ability to clarify and simplify complex issues.
  • Excellent project management skills, and attention to detail.
