About This Role

Nlyte, a Carrier Corporation, is looking for an experienced sales and account management professional. Participates in various account management activities and customer relationship management. Responsible for representing the company's interests and building business relationships to enhance account management performance. The territory for this role will be in Austin, TX and through the southern region of the US.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively identifies prospective for account management teams and develops a professional relationship to understand the customer needs and suggest products and/or services that meet the customer needs.

  • Conducts business development activities for account management teams within defined customer segment to support the business strategy.

  • Identifies bid opportunities, participates in the preparation of bid responses and the negotiation with potential customers.

  • Develops new customer contact leads for the sales business development team.

  • Proactively supports and develops prospective projects with assigned customers and presents to sales business development team.

  • Develop personal customer relationships with prospective accounts to influence opportunities.

  • Attends trade shows, presents new products to increase the visibility of the organization. Prepares workshops for assigned customers

  • 25% Travel Required

Required Qualifications  

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • 2+ years of IT or Software Sales Industry Experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Federal Sales process

  • Knowledge of DCIM

  • Experience selling into Data Centers

  • Possess a growth mindset

  • Ability to communicate and resolve problems effectively

  • Excellent time management, attention to detail, and follow through.
