We have an immediate need for an Engineering Designer (remote)
About the role
The Engineering Designer is a key position reporting to a Manager of Engineering or Operations. As an Engineering Designer at NORESCO, you’ll work with our internal project teams to create engineering designs that will achieve the energy savings guarantees and functional performance specified by our customers. This is an opportunity to observe your design work as it is constructed and becomes part of a successful energy conservation measure.
You will join a team of several dozen design engineers in an engineering-centric organization, NORESCO has over 150 in-house engineers from nearly every discipline. Our project teams include representatives from multiple departments; Development, Analysis, Construction, Engineering, M&V, Commissioning, and O&M. Engineering Designers are typically engaged with multiple projects from initial development through construction and occasionally support the transition into operations. This is a flexible position with many opportunities to collaborate in a cross functional environment with other project team members to gain experience and refine skills across the energy business.
