Role Purpose:

  • This role will provide design assistance for the creation of new compression products.
  • This role will also work with factory Engineering to resolve manufacturing/quality issues.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Utilize Creo-9 software to create models, drawings and bills of materials of compression products.
  • Document all work using the Windchill Change Authorization Process (WCAP).
  • Conduct Limit Stack Analysis.
  • Redesign of compression components to improve cost & efficiency.
  • Work closely with a team of designers/engineers located in USA and China.

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in mechanical, Engineering, or Technology with 1+year(s) of engineering experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • must have a demonstrated knowledge Windchill & Creo, mechanical components, assemblies and drawing packages.
  • Have shown some aptitude in machine design (an understanding of engine & turbo design).
  • Some knowledge of manufacturing fabrication and assembly methods.
  • The ideal candidate will have an understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing.
  • Work well with moderate guidance on projects with short- & long-term focus.
  • Have a solid understanding of the fundamentals of the discipline and role - continuing to develop specialized knowledge.
  • Proficient with Microsoft (Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Strong communication skills
