About this role

This is a rare opportunity to join the Carrier Franklin team as a direct hire! As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for working with a team in a manufacturing environment. You’ll work with your hands, operating machines, and ensuring our products meet high standards—all in a fast-paced, safety-first environment. Whether you’re experienced or new to manufacturing, we’ll provide the training and support you need to succeed.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, maintain and operate machine to ensure minimal downtime and efficient production

• Ensure appropriate, accurate documentation of processes

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance to equipment

• Maintain materials used in production processes

• Adhere to all safety requirements and wear appropriate (PPE) Personal Protection Equipment

• Recommend improvements consistently striving for efficient and effective methodologies

• Maintain departmental quality standards

• Other duties as assigned

Shift Requirement

• Monday – Friday, 11:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m. with occasional overtime

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older

• Must have the ability to bend, stoop, stand, and squat

• Ability to stand for 8 hours at a time

• Ability to lift items that can weigh up to 35 pounds

Preferred Requirements

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment

• Forklift experience preferred
