Automated Logic is looking for an inside Sales Support Engineer to join our growing team!
About This Role
The Building Automation Inside Sales Support Engineer works with customers to identify sales opportunities that will accelerate revenue growth and convert customer demand into sales opportunities. The Inside Sales Support Engineer is responsible for finding opportunities through online applications as well as through customer relationships, doing takeoffs for change orders as well as new opportunities provide cost estimates, and provide winning strategies to close the projects
Key Responsibilities
Review specification and control schematics.
Solicit pricing from subcontractors and equipment suppliers.
Create detailed scope letters and proposals.
Provide accurate and clear documentation on estimates and proposals.
Partner closely with our operations and engineering teams to provide the best solutions.
Assist with the selection of contractors.
Qualify opportunities and assist to develop bid strategy.
Provide accurate estimates to minimize risk while maintaining low cost
Track quantity and dollar volume of estimates
Meet project deadlines
Assist sales team with estimates, walk-throughs and field surveys
Create a scope letter for each project
Review specification and control schematics
Provide backup support for quotes and deviations from specifications.
Respond and communicate to interdepartmental requests in a timely manner
Utilize applicable sales tools effectively (CRM, estimating software, etc.)
Collaborate with internal staff to deliver quality results

Basic Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
2+ Years of Experience working in HVAC or Technical Industry
Valid Driver’s License
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field
Sales support or engineering experience in the HVAC industry
Experience in HVAC Controls or Building Automation
Demonstrates strong analytical and logical thinking skills along with judgment to make strategic decisions
Ability to build relationships internally and externally
Self-motivated with the ability to follow-up on issues and progress to meet leadership expectations.
Excellent written, verbal skills, and a passion for continuous improvement.
Capability to perform in a fast-paced and changing environment.
Knowledge of how to present ideas and strategies clearly to diverse audiences, leadership, and decision makers.
Strong organization and time management.
Aiding in the pricing of services to offer customers the best solution.
Excels at building relationships and enjoys quantitative problem-solving.
Experience with selling strategy and time management.
