About this position
We're seeking an experienced local leader to join a dynamic and growing team dedicated to delivering efficient and reliable cooling solutions to customers across Colorado. In this role, you'll lead a team of service technicians and managers, working closely with Sales and Operations to provide a world-class customer experience.
Take the lead in a pivotal role at the forefront of transformative growth and operational innovation in the HVAC industry. As a key member of this forward-thinking team, you'll drive change, champion customer-centric solutions, and nurture the development of talented professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage P&L and performance across geographical footprint; proactively views the area monthly/annually with 3/5-year plan.
- Set growth strategy for the market – identifying key customers and verticals and execute on the strategy – proactively expand the footprint in the territory.
- Communicate a vison and culture to a team of technicians and service managers, fostering a strong culture of teamwork and evolution.
- Implement culture of safety – be accountable for safety procedures and conduct safety briefings.
- Manage customer escalations.
- Account manager or leader on team of 1 -2 large accounts in Area.
- Drive performance management, technician development and corrective actions.
- Manage and reduce attrition through engaging in the community and local union.
- Manage and coaches Service Managers.
- Be involved in community activities past typical HVAC Industry programs/events, building the Carrier Brand in the area.
- Proactively communicates to leadership on state of the business and implemented actions.
- Manage relationship with internal partners and distribution partners.
- Collaborate with sales leadership to drive growth.

Basic Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED with 10+ years experience in the HVAC industry or in another skilled trades industry (in maintenance services), of which 5+ years experience in people management,
OR
College Diploma / Associate Degree with 6+ years experience in the HVAC industry or in another skilled trades industry (in maintenance services), of which 3+ years experience in people management.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
Preferred Qualifications (assets)
- Demonstrating ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Project Management, and Operations teams to align strategic goals, streamline service delivery, and drive customer satisfaction.
- Ability to manage business performance metrics and achieve or surpass plan goals on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Ability to provide leadership, guidance, and develop talent within the management team.
- Ability to implement strategies to grow the revenue and the profitability of the business in accordance with organizational goals.
- Good computer skills: knowledge of and proficiency in common office applications such as MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and ability to navigate Salesforce, ERP/SAP, and other business applications.
