About this role:
We are seeking a Corporate FP&A Specialist to join our finance team based in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting Carrier Corp’s financial planning and analysis activities, including forecasting, annual budgeting, and long-term strategic planning. You will deliver insightful business analytics, with a strong focus on P&L analysis and process optimization, helping drive smarter decisions across the organization.
As a trusted partner to Senior Leadership, Corporate Finance, and Segment Finance teams, you will contribute to high-impact initiatives and help shape the financial narrative of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate preparation of senior executive presentations including communications to the Board of Directors, Audit Committee, ELT
- Lead P&L roadmaps process for Carrier, with focus on the “why” behind the company’s results and variances and with ability to tell the story.
- Provide business insights and suggestions to VP FP&A and Sr FP&A Director through monthly flash reports and perform Risk & Opportunity roll up
- Lead Price-Cost analysis requirements for Carrier.
- Support Coordination and Preparation of Earnings Release Materials
- Improve existing reporting processes and create new ones where required.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance / accounting / or business administration.
- 3+ years’ experience in the financial field.
Preferred Qualifications (assets)
Other qualifications you may have that would be beneficial in this role include:
- Experience with Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) or Operations Finance (nice to have).
- Exceptional analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional computer skills at a proficient level with Excel, PowerPoint.
- Experience with HFM/Hyperion Financial Management and SAP. (nice to have)
- Ability to work cross-functionally and provide financial leadership across the organization.
- Excellent communication skills: ability to report on analysis concisely and effectively both orally and in written format.
- Ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities under tight deadlines, be detail oriented, and be well organized.
