About this role:

Carrier is seeking a Product Owner / Data Analyst to support the Data Center IPMT business group. This hybrid role blends product ownership, business analysis, and hands‑on analytics to deliver rapid insights, scalable KPIs, and data‑driven decision support.

The successful candidate will serve as the primary analytics intake and prioritization point for IPMT, translating business needs into actionable analytics products while partnering closely with Digital, Finance, and Governance teams to ensure clarity, consistency, and adoption.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary analytics point of contact for the Data Center IPMT business, owning intake, prioritization, and backlog management for analytics work.
  • Translate business questions, requests, and improvement opportunities into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritized deliverables.
  • Maintain an analytics roadmap aligned to IPMT priorities, dependencies, and Digital funding models.
  • Perform rapid, high‑impact analysis using existing datasets, dashboards, and tools to deliver timely insights.
  • Develop, enhance, and maintain KPIs, dashboards, and reporting that provide transparency into business performance.
  • Storytelling insights through executive‑ready presentations, dashboards, and written narratives to drive informed decisions.
  • Serve as the business subject matter expert for KPIs, definitions, and data usage within IPMT.
  • Partner with CHVAC Data Analytics to provide KPI definition inputs, enforce change control, and support documentation standards.
  • Collaborate with CHVAC Data Analytics and business teams to distinguish net‑new development vs. enhancement of existing funded solutions.
  • Identify when requests require deeper data engineering or structural changes and route through agreed intake processes.
  • Support adoption of analytics products through stakeholder engagement, enablement, and ongoing support.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5 + years of experience in data analytics, business analytics, and/or product‑adjacent analytics roles.
  • 5 + years of hands‑on experience with Power BI, Excel, and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven ability to translate ambiguous business questions into structured analytical work and actionable insights.
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills, including experience presenting to business and leadership audiences.
  • Experience working with CRM, ERP, or operational data sources.
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a Product Owner, Analytics Product Owner, or hybrid PO/Data Analyst role.
  • Familiarity with Agile delivery concepts, backlog management, and user story development.
  • Experience with SQL, Power Automate, Power Apps, or similar analytics enablement tools.
  • Background supporting manufacturing, capital projects, or data center–related operations.
  • Experience contributing to KPI governance, standardization, or analytics operating mode
