About this role:
Carrier, a global provider of healthy, safe, and sustainable building and cold chain solutions, is seeking a talented Multimedia Designer to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and updating the Edwards Learning Center website, subsites, and portals, as well as creating and maintaining eLearning courses. As a Multimedia Designer, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing engaging learning experiences for employees and customers.
This is an on-site role, located in Bradenton, Florida
Key Responsibilities:
Website:
- Maintain and update the Edwards Learning Center website, subsites, and portals to ensure accurate and current information.
SharePoint:
- Manage calendars, image libraries, wikis, and landing pages on the SharePoint platform.
Moodle:
- Create and maintain eLearning courses in the Moodle course management system.
- Post-training modules and resource modules for ongoing learning support.
- Update and maintain Webinar schedules for past, present, and future events.
Video:
- Collaborate with technical support and other departments to schedule video shoots and procure necessary equipment and talent.
- Write scripts and seek subject matter expert (SME) review to produce finalized scripts.
- Capture professional-quality videos, including lighting and audio direction for optimal results.
Video Edit:
- Edit videos, incorporating still images, transitions, and audio dubbing.
- Perform quality assurance assessments on videos to ensure high standards.
- Conduct video screen captures as needed.
- Add intro and exit rolls with appropriate YouTube hotspots and links.
Photograph/Illustrate:
- Photograph and edit product images for online training, PowerPoint, and website delivery.
- Create and retouch supporting illustrations used in both classroom and online training.
Communications:
- Collaborate with technical teams to build and distribute technical communications, including newsletters, tech support field notes, class flyers, and webinar invitations.
- Maintain the product image library.
- Establish and manage the Training Dept. social media presence on platforms such as LinkedIn and YouTube.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of two (2+) years of recent graphic design or interactive multimedia development/design/programming experience.
- High school diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate or bachelor’s degree
- Five (5) years of recent graphic design or interactive multimedia development/design/programming experience.
- Strong proficiency in 2013 SharePoint administration and HTML.
- Experience in Moodle site administration, including Moodle 4.0, third-party plugins, and HTML.
- Video experience using Canon EOS SD Mark III DSLR.
- Audio experience using Rode Video Mic.
- Studio lighting setup experience.
- Proficiency in the following software: Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Captivate, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Articulate Storyline, CorelDraw, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel.
