About this role

If you are excited about contributing in a high-performing supply chain team and making a significant impact within your field of expertise, you should apply to our role as a Supply Chain Management Analyst.

Duties include but are not limited to i.e. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data related to inventory levels, demand forecasting, production schedules, and distribution processes. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process bottlenecks and suggesting process enhancements. Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in supply chain management.

This is an onsite opportunity in Mississauga.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute, monitor, and manage inventory-related supply chain processes, and improve key supply planning metrics
  • Partner with suppliers, identify root cause operational issues and ensure action plans are in place
  • Identify alternate sources of supply/service to de-risk sources of materials and supply chain issues
  • Assess the impact of changes/ significant variances in the demand forecast and recommend appropriate revisions and tactics
  • Improve lead times from key vendors through process analytics
  • Maintain critical vendor/purchasing master data in SAP, i.e. costs, surcharges, minimum order quantities, lead times, period of supply, and component replacement likelihoods
  • Participate in production alignment meetings to prioritize production based on inventory performance with operations and external vendors
  • Optimize and manage inventory and case fill, end to end
  • Determines root cause for supply issues and appropriately escalates/engages business partners to resolve issues quickly and efficiently
  • Develop and lead supply chain process improvements related to procurement activities
  • Suggest /manage inventory targets (i.e. safety stock levels) to ensure appropriate stock level

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain management or analysis

Preferred Qualifications

Other qualifications you may have that would be beneficial in this role include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Engineering or Mathematics
  • Supply Chain Certification  i.e. APICS CSCP or CSCMP
  • Process improvement proficiency i.e. understanding root cause and lean methodology
  • Proven organizational skills
  • Ability to perform under pressure & manage priorities with competing demands
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Interpersonal and English communication skills
  • Work both independently and collaboratively
  • Effectively present and communicate at various levels of the organization
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Advance MS Excel skills
  • Working knowledge of SAP, SQL and WMS systems
