About this role

This position manages a team of intermediate to experienced professionals in Materials & Logistics, manages departmental budgets, consults on business issues, drives cost reduction activities, ensures quality control, and leads material and inventory audits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manages team of both experienced professionals and team leaders, and owns the execution of long-term strategy of a Global Supply Chain network
  • Lead the development, implementation and refinement of the Ductless & VRF SIOP process (Demand meeting/Supply meeting/Executive Meeting)
  • Analyze daily distributor demand intelligence against forecasts and recommend proactive inventory and scheduling actions to address.
  • Lead the development of the SIOP analysts (creating developmental opportunities to further career growth)  
  • Refine and improve current SIOP information collection process to make it more efficient by leading the data integration from customer to factory.
  • Create and lead month operations performance metric reviews with Executive leadership team.
  • Additional opportunities to lead project teams within Supply Chain and Logistics organization will become available as initiatives are developed.
  • Will create, implement, and train on key Business Intelligence reports to improve visibility and identify opportunities for change across the supply chain.
  • Attend weekly supplier calls to discuss open issues and escalations (will require night meetings)

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelors’ degree
  • 5+ years of experience with Supply Chain, Logistics and SIOP

Preferred Qualifications

Other qualifications you may have that would be beneficial in this role include:

  • Masters’ degree with 2+years of experience with Supply Chain, Logistics and SIOP
  • Ability to work across organizational boundaries and Supply Chain organization
    Proficiency in MS Office tools, especially Excel and Access
  • Experience with SAP and Business Intelligence
  • Excellent proven analytical skills
  • Ability to analyze disparate information and draw conclusions/recommendations
  • Knowledge and experience with demand forecasting (statistical and business process)
  • Strong verbal, written and inter-personal communication skills
