About This Role

The Commercial National Account Manager will report to the National Account Manager and have responsibility to foster and increase statements of work (SOW) with existing Carrier/Bryant and ICP distributors. Additionally, they will be responsible for developing and implementing effective strategies for product sales across all product categories to existing distribution platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Residential national accounts including builders, developers, property management companies, and real estate agencies.
  • Act as the main point of contact for all national account-related inquiries and issues.
  • Identify opportunities to expand business with existing national accounts and develop and execute account plans to increase sales and revenue. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as marketing and product development, to develop customized solutions that meet the unique needs of each account.
  • Analyze market trends and customer data to forecast sales and set targets for national accounts.
  • Develop sales strategies, monitor progress, and adjust approach as need to achieve targets
  • Ensure contracts are aligned with company policies and objectives. Collaborate with legal and finance teams to review and finalize contracts.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to national accounts by addressing issues or concerns promptly and effectively. 
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer complaints and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify new opportunities, potential risks, industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions. Use insights to develop strategies to stay ahead of the competition.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales performance, account activities, and market trends. Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven recommendations to management.

Required Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree. 
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
  • 5+ years’ experience in B2B sales

  • Proven experience in sales or account management, preferably in the commercial sector.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.

  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to travel as needed to meet with national accounts.
