About this role
Edwards has an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to become an expert in Fire Control Panel and Device system operation, quality issue investigation, OVP product evaluation, root cause analysis and manufacturing process improvements. The person filling this position will play a key role in helping ensure that Edwards continues to deliver top quality products that meet our customer’s needs.

Key Responsibilities
Investigate and understand electronic circuit design and functionality
Oversee the Edwards Engineering Quality Issue Tracker project dashboard
Hands-on investigation and RRCA of customer reported issues where Engineering support has been requested
System verification and validation testing
Create and execute test plans to evaluate Outside Vended Product (OVP) product offerings for integration into the Edwards product portfolio
Work with manufacturing teams from multiple factories in Mexico, China, USA and elsewhere to investigate and resolve manufacturing issues
Lead Root Cause Analysis investigations
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
3+ years of experience in an electrical design or systems engineering role
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
2+ years of experience with Analog and digital circuit design and analysis and using basic electrical test equipment, such as multimeters or oscilloscopes or spectrum analyzers
Ability to understand system level interactions between complex electronic, firmware, communications and software sub-components
Ability to read and understand electronic circuit schematics, wiring diagrams, and layouts
Good troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
Ability to interpret statistical data reports
Experience working in a team environment, interfacing with other teams to release product
General understanding of product lifecycle management tools
