About This Role

We are seeking Financial Planning & Analysis Mgr. who will be the operations finance lead for the ALC factory and will also support key strategic projects at the Charlotte factory. The incumbent will gain an understanding of working in a dynamic environment, and be part of team who embraces continuous improvement, while we transform our operating model. You will serve as a key member of our FP&A team, working closely with finance and business unit operations for both factories.

Drawing on your experience and passion, we’re looking for a professional who is motivated to provide stellar work on across two business units. You will be primarily responsible for financial analysis & reporting of the ALC factory, including ownership and analysis on materials, factory, field, and logistics productivity and program investment proposals; in addition, you will be responsible of key process at the Charlotte factory.


You must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to reporting accuracy and detail, and have a passion for continuous improvement and creating best-in-class processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the consolidation, analysis, and reporting of monthly actual and forecast for ALC Factory, including key operating metrics as materials, logistics, and field & factory productivity.
  • Prepare reviews for senior leadership and support leadership presentations.
  • Work closely with the business units to explain monthly variances plan, prior estimate, and prior year.
  • Develop financial models and direct variance analysis for monthly actual and forecasted results (material, factory and field productivity, inventories, and capital expenditures)
  • Lead development of the annual business plan, support preparation of action plans and recommendations for business and operational decisions.
  • Provide leadership and support for inventory reductions actions across both factories.
  • Participate in and develop data for program management Passport reviews as required.
  • Collaborate with the engineering and design teams to cost new products.
  • Prepare ad-hoc analysis, as requested by leadership.
  • Provide support for senior executive presentations and reports to corporate.
  • Actively participate as a business partner with the BUs to measuring actual performance and to provide quality insights to leadership team which will enable more informed decision making.
  • Support the SAP implementation in Charlotte factory.

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years’ experience in finance, in a manufacturing facility, with experience in labor, material, overhead analysis, standard costing and/or Inventory management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Ability to travel up to 40%.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or CPA/CMA
  • Knowledge of US GAAP, reporting requirements, financial analysis techniques, and budgeting/forecasting processes, financial/cost analysis, and budgeting/forecasting skills.
  • Strong analytical and spreadsheet development skills, along with prior advanced knowledge of financial consolidation systems (HFM preferred) and Excel.
  • Able to work with minimal oversight.
  • Organization skills which allow reporting deadlines to be consistently met.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal across a wide audience
  • Adaptable, detail-oriented and works well within a collaborative team.
  • Strong business acumen and creative problem-solving skills.
