About This Role
This position will be directly responsible for Managing Accounting for a Carrier business unit, with field locations across the US. Responsibilities will include all field related accounting, analysis, and support.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead, train, develop and retain a diverse accounting team
Participate in and coordinate the month end closing processes.
Review monthly journal entries and account reconciliations
Provide Accounting support to internal customers (Finance, Sales, Operations, Et Al.).
Maintain Accounting standard work documentation.
Perform Cost Accounting functions.
Assist with balance sheet fluctuation analysis.
Provide inputs into sales incentive payment calculations.
Prepare and promote financial data (including HFM supplemental data).
Work with compliance team to ensure a strong internal controls environment.
Ad-hoc projects as needed by Senior Accounting Manager and HQ management
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
4+ years’ experience in accounting
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in Financial Accounting
Demonstrated knowledge and application of accounting principles and internal control procedures
Strong communication skills with the ability to present recommendations effectively to management in both written form and orally
Strong PC skills including Microsoft Excel, ERP Applications, and HFM
Attention to detail and delivering a quality work product on time
Ability to work cross-functionally in order to solve business process issues
