About This Role
As a vital member of the Creative & Design Team, you will contribute your graphic design skills to the production of creative assets across print and online mediums which include packaging, catalogs, e-commerce assets, signage, retailer merchandising displays, digital graphics and online marketing. You have an in-depth knowledge of the print production process and are also familiar with production for a multitude of digital channels. You are obsessive about the details and use your mastery of the Adobe Creative Suite to work quickly to bring established design direction and assets to life. Reporting to the Creative Operations Manager and dedicated to supporting a team of creatives, you exhibit self-motivation and superb organization to execute a high volume of assets while working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the creative team to extend established design direction across print and digital assets
- Work closely with internal teams to understand brand and project requirements and deadlines
- Self-manage workload, prioritizing work across multiple projects and teams simultaneously ensuring all are completed on time
- Use excellent communication skills to gain confidence and trust from cross-functional partners and internal team members
- Attend team meetings and project meetings on a regular basis
- Follow strict file naming conventions and file organization procedures and rules
- Regularly upload approved assets to digital asset management (DAM) platform
- Keep project management tool up to date with current project information/statuses
- Review digital and print proofs for accuracy and quality as needed
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- Associates Degree
- 3+ years graphic design/production experience
- Have an available online portfolio
- 5+ years of the Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
- 1+ year of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of digital and print production processes with meticulous attention to detail
- Working knowledge of packaging industry, structure and print production
- Superior organizational skills, especially as related to file structure/creation and versioning
- Proficient photo retouching skills
- Ability to problem-solve, support and collaborate with other team members effectively
- Agility for time management and prioritization
- Ability to flexibly and quickly pivot based on changing priorities and project feedback
- Process-oriented, with the ability to provide input regarding possible areas of improvement as needed
- Strong presentation and communication skills (both written and verbal)
- In-depth knowledge of design and production terminology for print and digital
- Working knowledge of Adobe Premiere and After Effects
- Prior experience working with:
- Packaging artwork production - specifically executing bilingual/trilingual (English, French, Spanish) retail packaging
- Bynder (Digital Asset Management Platform)
- Workfront (Project Management Platform)
- Macintosh Operating System
