About This Role
This role is in our Performance Engineering group (also referred to as Measurement & Verification or M&V) which provides long-term monitoring, evaluating, and reporting of performance and verified savings of energy savings performance projects implemented by NORESCO. It is an Operations role that provides cross-functional support for the M&V group, other NORESCO departments, and our customers. The Operations Coordinator reports directly to our Performance Engineering Operations Manager and provides day to day support for our Verification Engineers. In this role, the Operations Coordinator is responsible for effectively managing the timely review, production, delivery, and tracking of our M&V Reports including; Post-Installation, Monthly, Quarterly, Semi-Annual, and Annual Reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide non-technical Quality Control (QC) of M&V Reports, coordination of technical and business issue QC across the Project Team, final review by M&V Engineers and Managers, as well as soliciting input from O&M staff, Project Developers, Customer Care, and other NORESCO stakeholders.
- Supports tracking production readiness, ship dates, and non-technical quality (via customer feedback) of Reports by maintaining and reviewing results with M&V Management monthly.
When necessary, produces hard copies of customer M&V Reports using printing equipment and then assembling, binding, packaging, and shipping Reports via FedEx. - Responsible for monitoring the NORESCO M&V email account, reviewing messages received, and responding to or forwarding customer inquiries or updates
- Maintain copies of Confirmation and/or Acceptance emails for all M&V deliverables to ensure contract compliance is confirmed and appropriate proof of compliance is archived.
- Maintains M&V Report and document archives to ensure that copies of the final versions of all deliverables produced by M&V are properly archived and migrated to SharePoint.
- Compiles data from M&V Reports and maintains M&V Performance Period database.
Other responsibilities as required including: - Streamline data requests and portfolio reporting tasks by compiling historical ECM and project performance data to support M&V, marketing, finance, and other departments as needed.
- Support M&V Managers and Engineers by responding to various requests from internal NORESCO teams for information regarding the M&V portfolio as a whole as well as specific projects.
- Maintains and updates all M&V Report Distribution Lists. This includes coordination with various teams including, but not limited to, the following: Accounting/FED Contracts, Project Development, Customer Care, O&M, Construction, as well as M&V Engineers and Management.
- Work with the Operations Manager as well as the Manager and Director of Performance Engineering to identify and implement process improvements.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3+ years of prior experience in Operations Support for Performance Engineering, Database Management, and/or Document Production
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with managing hundreds of concurrent, recurring customer deliverables
- Demonstrated proficiency with maintaining large reporting and tracking databases
- Capable of providing high level insights and analysis on data being collected
- Able to improve Report content and presentation in collaboration with engineers
- High level proficiency with MS Office, Web Design, Content Management, and Email software
- Extensive QA Training and field experience
