Role Purpose:

  • To support engineering in new product development
  • To work as a team member
  • To keep support equipment at 100% uptime

Role Responsibilities:

  • Must be able to interpret engineering drawings and electrical schematics.

  • The technician applies skills to perform HVACR testing and troubleshooting to electromechanical equipment with the ability to analyze HVACR performance data to resolve most questions and problems.

  • Must be able to maintain units and laboratory equipment in proper operating condition.

  • The Technician must adapt to new procedures, techniques, tools, materials and/or equipment to meet the more complex requirements and functions of the position.

  • This position requires a highly motivated work ethic and the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time while maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma with 5+ years of engineering experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Be proficient in MS office applications, specifically Excel, along with overall good computer skills
  • Be able to pull wire harnesses out of a unit, dissemble and reassemble all components, and get it operational
  • Have an understand HVACR systems, controls, diesel engines, and be able to troubleshoot unit issues
  • Knowledge of CAN bus systems and physics of power and battery technology is highly desirable
