About This Role

Entry-level Electrical and Electronics professional who troubleshoots technical and electrical device problems, operates engineering software and equipment, and confers with stakeholders regarding engineering projects.
 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Embedded Hardware and/or Software design (mentored by a senior engineer).
  • Support new product introduction with prototype and pre-production builds.
  • Work as part of a team to complete end of line test updates for new or modified controls.
  • Provide sustaining support to manufacturing for end of life component issues.
  • Gain an understanding of the basics of Heating Ventilation & Air Conditioning (HVAC) equipment operation.
  • Root cause analysis and failure mitigation of quality issues.
  • Participate in design tasks and product reviews.
  • Learn basic principles relating to regulatory and governmental HVAC safety requirements.
  • Interface with team members, customers, and suppliers to support new control designs.
  • Approximately 5% domestic and international travel as required to support engineering programs and electronics manufacturing objectives.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering Technology.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Pre-existing HVAC experience/knowledge.
  • Internship or work experience handling embedded Hardware and/or Software design.
