Role Responsibilities 

 

  • Responsible for Ductless product sales and growth in assigned Northeast Region 

  • Develop and manage joint growth strategies with Distribution, Representatives, and Direct Sales Offices to increase customer base, convert contractors and engineers, and increase market share   

  • Support Distribution; annual dealer meetings, present new programs and products to Direct Sales Office, and Representatives to meet their sales targets 

  • Train the sales channel on Ductless and marketing programs 

  • Assist the sales channel to ensure satisfied customers 

  • Identify product gaps, develop solutions to minimize the impact, and work with Product Management to prioritize and eliminate gaps 

  • Assist the sales channel, service, and contractors to rapidly resolve issues 

  • Examine marketing and sales statistics plus field conditions to identify opportunities and devise strategies for maximum growth and increased market share 

  • Build consultative relationships and trust with Distribution, Direct Sales Offices, and Reps 

  • Familiar with energy rebates and tax incentives within the assigned Region 

  • Responsible for compiling competitive product and pricing data relative to job quotes and Market pricing 

 

Basic Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree 

  • 5+ years’ sales experience in HVAC 

  • Ability to pass MVR  

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Ductless product sales; knowledgeable about operation, design guidelines, accessories 

  • Solid public speaking and verbal presentation skills; high level discussions and deeper conversations with dealers 

  • Ability to work and communicate with multiple levels of positions within Distribution (Counter Sales Associates, Inside Sales Representatives, Outside Sales Territory Manager’s, Sales Managers and Owner/Principal) 

  • Superior follow-up and follow-through skills 

  • Proven history of rapid sales growth with satisfied customers 

  • Thorough understanding of marketplace dynamics including HVAC industry trends and assessment of key competitor’s programs 

  • Solid analytical skills with demonstrated ability to pull data from assorted sources and synthesize in both graphic and verbal format, so that it is easily understood by the target audience 

  • Advanced level skills with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, & PowerPoint) 

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail, while also able to manage multiple priorities
