We are seeking an established OEM Materials Planner professional to join our OEM carrier team.  As an OEM Products Material Planner, you will work with a high volume of interactions with vendors and internal cross-functional product teams to support our company’s customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Purchasing: Responsible for the PO placement process; support the buying/sourcing team to ensure parts/accessories are quoted/sourced in a timely manner and resolve issue(s) preventing vendor payment.

  • Supplier Coordination: Collaborate with suppliers to confirm timely delivery of materials and resolve any supply chain issues

  • Material Planning: Develop and implement material planning strategies to guarantee timely availability of materials for customer demand

  • Customer Coordination: Point of contact for all order related inquires, including order changes, transportation, pricing, status.

  • Inventory Management: Process shipment information inventory receipt, outbound delivery, through invoicing, via manual and/or electronic systems.

  • Data Analysis: Analyze material usage trends and forecast future material requirements

  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance material planning and purchasing efficiency

  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on material status, inventory levels, purchasing activities, and supply chain performance

  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards in all purchasing activities

Required Qualifications

  • Associates degree with 5+ years of experience material planning, purchasing or supply chain or Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of experience material planning, purchasing or supply chain.

Preferred Qualifications

●      Master’s degree in supply chain management

●      Certification in APICS (Association for Supply Chain Management) or similar

●      Proficiency in material planning software and ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or JDE

●      Experience in material planning and purchasing in a manufacturing or distribution environment       

●      Experience with international sourcing and procurement

●      Analytical and problem-solving skills

●      English communication (verbal & written) and interpersonal skills

●      Work independently and as part of a team

●      Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

●      Manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
