About the role

We are seeking a motivated, results-oriented college student to join our team for the summer of 2025. The Carrier internship experience offers interns an environment that provides practical, challenging, and meaningful on-the-job work experience, and the opportunity to apply knowledge and demonstrate strengths in efforts to assist Carrier in achieving its business strategy.

As an Advanced Materials Engineering intern, you will gain experience to include, but is not limited to, activities and tasks listed below:

• Maintaining detailed records of testing conducted with detailed measurements of test solutions, environmental conditions, and equipment status.

• Organizing test documents and provide summarized reports to engineers or internal customers.

• Conducting additional sample preparation, metallography, and microscopy of tested samples as needed.

• Coordinating documentation, return to customer, and/or storage of tested samples.

• Assisting in continuous improvement efforts to increase test reliability and acceleration.

• Maintaining a safe working environment, following all procedures and PPE requirements.

Basic Qualifications

• Must be currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master's degree program, majoring in Materials Science, Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering, or any engineering field.

• GPA must be greater than or equal to 3.0 GPA

• Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

•  Previous internship experience preferred.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

• Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills

• Self-driven and proactive

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities

• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels

• Team player and willing to collaborate with others on projects

Pay Range

The salary for this position is between $36,750– $127,500 annually.
